SUNDAY
Depart Leyland at 0900 for the journey to Holyhead and the 1400 ferry to Dublin. Rejoin our coach for the short journey to Enniscorthy and Treacy’s Hotel.
MONDAY
Waterford City and Waterford Crystal Today enjoy a guided walking tour of Waterford followed by a visit to the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre, home of the world’s most famous crystal. Later on, the Seanachi Folk Band will entertain you in the hotel as part of a Guinness themed evening. Wicklow, Glendalough and Mount Usher Gardens County Wicklow is known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’. Nestled amongst the lush rolling hills are pretty little glens and cascading waterfalls. We visit Mount Usher, a world-class example of a so called Robinsonian garden with its natural layout. The hotel entertainment this evening is themed around the famous Jameson whisky. This will be followed on by the ever-popular Celtic Roots Show.
TUESDAY
Kilkenny and Dunbrody Famine Ship Today we travel to Kilkenny to visit the Kilkenny Design Centre, St Canice’s Cathedral and the imposing Butler Castle. Later, visit the fascinating Dunbrody Famine Ship, an authentic replica of a 19th century famine ship which carried passengers across
the Atlantic. Actors will share their stories as they perform role play to their passengers. This evening
enjoy a Baileys themed evening of entertainment at the hotel.
